“Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne, has won the victory.”

Greetings in the name of our Lord, Jesus! I pray you are blessed. This is the first post in this blog and I’m sharing this one first, because when you have a true revelation of how much you are loved, your perspective on everything else will change.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

You are a beloved child of God.

This is your identity. Deeply root yourself in this revelation. He loved you in the beginning and He will love you in the end. You can’t earn or lose His love.

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. (Jeremiah 31:3)

This is the love that led him to pursue us when we were separated by sin. Jesus laid down His life to reconcile us back into the family. His perfect, sinless blood restored our righteous standing and because of His sacrifice, we are heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven. He took our punishment, so that we could receive His reward.

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

If you ever question God’s intentions toward you, if you ever question His plan, remind yourself that YOU ARE SO LOVED. Jesus left His throne in Heaven to buy you back for the Father. He sought you out while you were still a sinner.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

He loves you the same on your best day as your worst day.

He loves you in the valley and on the mountain. So, when you’re in the middle of a trial, remember that you are so loved and that God only has plans to prosper and not to harm His beloved.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. (Ephesians 3:17-18)

The love of God is unconditional and everlasting. It has no boundaries or limits. It’s firm and not persuaded by our behavior or short-comings. It’s freely given and available to all. He gave up His only son for you and He would do it all over again.

 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-40)
